Built from the community up
PO'DUNK started with two Texas builders helping people make sense of these “crazy little backyard pools.” Years of installations, troubleshooting, experiments, and honest answers grew into a nationwide community.
That same practical experience goes into every DFW project today.

Every yard is a little different. These are the questions that usually get the first conversation started.
A 6-foot tank is best for one or two people. An 8-footer gives a family more room. A 10-footer comfortably opens the party up to a larger group. Your access path and available level space help make the final call.
Concrete can be a strong, stable surface, and shade is a major advantage in a Texas summer. We still check the exact location, slope, drainage, and access before recommending a setup.
The majority of straightforward installations are completed in a day. More involved ground preparation, upgrades, or custom surrounds can change the schedule.
A properly maintained galvanized tank is designed for years of use. Good water chemistry and keeping concentrated chemicals away from the metal are essential.
Price depends on tank size, site preparation, equipment, access, and upgrades. Bring a photo of the space and your ZIP code when you contact Podunk through Facebook so the team can start narrowing down the right build.
